A Remote Sensing study and website on the aftermath of the 2018 Southern California Woolsey Fire.
The video above showcases a 3D Topography Model with Woolsey Fire Perimeter Overlay that I made in ArcGlobe. It visualizes land topography data and slope steepness in the Santa Monica Mountain region affected by fire. 
To create this, I used Digital Elevation SRTM (Shuttle Radar Topography Mission) 1-Arc data from EarthExplorer and vector fire perimeter data from NASA.

Above is a 3D Elevation Model of West Los Angeles, depicting the local land cover and mountainous terrain. 
This was created in ENVI with NED (National Elevation Data), using a spatial subset and vertical exaggeration.
